Sleek Makeup Review #2 ♥

Hey guys!

Merry Belated Christmas ;D
Today, I got my Sleek Makeup package as a Christmas gift! I ordered the Oh So Special Palette, Sleek Blush in Pixie Pink, and Sleek Makeup Pout Polish in Pink Cadillac.

The first item is the Oh So Special Palette. It has a lot of really pretty colours, and I'm sure I will enjoy using this in the future. I feel that you can make two different looks with the palette, both dark and natural!

The next item is the Sleek Makeup Blush in Pixie Pink. It looks very cute and girly, not the most natural blush colour obviously, but I love it. It is soft, and matte and looks pretty on skin.

The last item is Sleek Makeup's Pout Polish in Pink Cadillac. I think this is a pretty good product considering that it's a tinted lip colour, and a lip moisturizing product with SPF 15 as well. It has a pretty natural pink colour, and is a little buildable. It's also pretty glossy, I'm not a big fan of glossy, but it's not that bad.

SWATCHES:

OVERALL:
Sleek Makeup is affordable, with great quality. It is long lasting, and the package came in really quickly!

MAC & Sheer Cover Haul ♥

Hey girliesss!

This is my very first haul, with of course many more hauls to come!! This one is on a bunch of MAC and only one Sheer Cover product. I got some as a gift, but others I bought.

The first product is a MAC Eye Shadow called FLIP.

It's a gorgeous shimmery gold eye shadow, and if you don't know I LOVE gold eye shadows! It's not super high pigmented which isn't much of a problem for me, but it is definitely buildable.

The second product is another MAC Eye Shadow called Haunting.

Now normally, I wouldn't purchase a blue eye shadow by itself because it's not like I would ever wear it on a daily basis. But thinking of all the fun makeup looks you can create with this, I just thought I had to give it a try. It was something new! Besides, Halloween is just around the corner and I feel like I know just the perfect look this can help me create.

It's a gorgeous blue, and it's matte. Very lovely colour!

The third product is MAC Hyper Real/Pressed (Highlighter) in Warm Rose FX.

Such a beautiful, beautiful highlighter! It looks like fairy dust, and I love it! It has a tad bit of shimmer, just the right amount for that beautiful glow. In the pictures it looks a little pink-ish, and looks a little peach pink in real life, but when put onto your skin it's just a pretty white shimmer.

It's also very pigmented; you may notice so when you rub your fingers on, you will get a lot on your finger. Like most highlighters, it's buildable on the skin.

It also comes with a little powder patter? Hahah! I have no idea what you call them, but I guess their those brushes you can use to apply the highlighter with, which I don't recommend you use.

The fourth product is the one and only (in the Haul) Sheer Cover Face Palette in Sophisticate.

The colours are absolutely gorgeous!! I'm telling you, it's like the dream palette (almost). The first colour on the top left is actually a blush (I think). In the picture it looks a little dead, but in real life it's actually a pretty soft pink colour. The second one right beside it is a gorgeous brown and tan colour. The first one on the bottom left (very sorry that you're not very able to see it!!) is a pretty pink and another gorgeous shimmery gold eyeshadow!! And the last one beside it is a matte black with a dead matte pink colour.

Tell me these colours aren't so pretty! I'm way too scared to even touch them yet, so I'm very sorry again about not being able to see the bottom one properly!

As you can see, this palette also comes with another one of these "Powder Patters"! Again, I don't quite recommend you use one of these to apply your makeup. Also the palette comes with a sponge brush and a little eye shadow brush (which again you cannot see!).

I know what you're thinking.."You left out one product!" No I didn't, I just couldn't take any good pictures of it plus I don't think it needs much explanation other than it's a foundation sponge. I actually got this for free in Sephora so...yeah! I don't think I'll use this much..or never at all.

Anyways, we've finally reached the end of this loooong and picture heavy post! Hope you enjoyed this haul, and let me know what you think about these products and if I should do more hauls! I'd love love to hear what you guys have to say.

See you on the next post!

Review: MAC Bronzing Powder ♥

Heyy cupcakes!

Yeess, from now on I shall call all my lovely viewers a type of food! Anyways! I'm here with another review! This time on Mac's Bronzing Powder. I got this a couple of weeks ago, but only had the thought to do a review on it now. What I like about this bronzer is the great colour on my skin and it's matte-ness. I must say though, I am extremely disappointed on the packaging. The zebra box is acceptable, but the packaging of the brozner itself is horrible. If you were to give this bronzer to someone alone and say that it's from MAC, I highly doubt anyone would believe so. At least I wouldn't. The design of the bronzer is just so cheap looking in my opinion and does not look high end, or a product from MAC. It also isn't that all too high pigmented. In fact to be honest, I have seen much better bronzers work better than this one which just proves brand isn't always the best. Plus the price wasn't that pretty.

Like always, I will be doing an overall review on this lovely product! Let me know if you guys prefer reviews with specific categorizing (pros,cons..) or just a whole paragraph on what I think of the product!

PROS:
♥Matte, therefore giving a natural finish

♥Soft, pretty colour
♥Easy to use
♥Long lasting
♥Since it's not too highly pigminted, it is buildable.

CONS:
♥Cheap packaging

♥Not so highly pigmented
♥Price not very affordable but reasonable for MAC
♥Not the best quality for a high end product

TIPS:
♥Using a brush will give off a better finish

♥Do not pack on this bronzer unless you like the super, super sunken cheeks look

WHERE TO FIND THEM:

♥MAC, Makeup Stores

What you guys think of this bronzer? Did you like it? Did you hate it? Would you give it a try? Let me know in the comments below! :)

Day 4: Your Favourite Foundation ♥

Hello guys!

So today's post is on my favorite foundation. This one was quite easy, it was my Makeup Forever HD Foundation. I absolutely am aware of so many other better foundations out there so therefor I am not calling this foundation the best among the rest, but more of something that is of my favorite right now, and is something I think is worth a try.

The foundation packaging is a pumping bottle which I like much better than open caps because I am able to pump the right amount I am needing for. In my opinion, I also don't think that it doesn't really have a yellow streak to it like most people are worried about, but even if it did it's absolutely alright for me since I do have a yellow undertone. It's also what it says to be, it is an HD foundation and great for photo shoots and looks great under the sunlight. I don't know about anyone else but I like my foundation exactly my colour but then again I like it to be a tad bit lighter than my skin colour, and this foundation does just that. It is great, I got it from Sephora and everyone should try this foundation!

Day 3: Your Favourite Brush ♥

Here with another challenge of the day!
Day 3: Your favourite Brush.
Now for me, I own a couple of brushes but never really had a "favourite" Although I did have some that I often used, so I ended up choosing my blending brush from eyesbydesign which I believe is a new one by Bobbi Brown, sorry if I'm wrong! It's of great quality, even though it doesn't quite look like it in my opinion..It blends well and is very soft on my skin, not like other blending brushes where they kind of poke your skin and make you cry!

The only downside that I'd have to say about this is probably that the size of the brush is a little too large for me sometimes..But other than that, it's a great brush and is well worth it's price.
Next tomorrow is, Day 4: Your Favourite Foundation!

Do you guys have a favourite brush you'd like to share? Please let me know in the comments section, I'd looove to hear about it.

Day 1: Your Favourite Eyeliner ♥

Alright, so today is Day 1 of my 30 Day Challenge. It was supposed to have started yesterday, but I did not have the camera with me, so therefor it begins today. The first challenge is my Favourite Eyeliner. I was a little stuck between two, but ended up picking my Clinique Gel Eyeliner in true black!

You can tell how much I love it. It's literally what I use for my everyday look, and pretty much anything. It's worn out and dirty, and if you'd see the inside there's only a little bit left. I needa buy my third one already! Personally, I think it's my favourite because it glides on easily, it's long lasting, and well it looks pretty. The only down side that I'd have to say is that probably after a couple of hours of moving, laughing, and all that, your eyeliner would've probably smudged a little. Other than that, I love this eyeliner at this moment, and would definitely recommend it. In case your wondering what my second favourite is, it's Stilla - Stay All Day Waterproof Eyeliner. It's actually a liquid eyeliner, and what I love about it is how easy it is to apply and wet it feels. It's almost like using a pen and drawing on your eyes. The downside about it is that it dries pretty easily, but it is waterproof and very long lasting and will not smudge.

So that's pretty much it for Day 1! See you guys in Day 2 - Your Favourite Bag That You Own.

If you guys decide to try out these eyeliner, let me know what you think about it, also if you try out the 30 Day Challenge yourself, let me know I'd love to check it out.

Sleek Makeup Blush Review♥

Hello everyone!

Today's post is a review on Sleek Makeup Blushes. For those who don't know what Sleek Makeup is, it's a brand located in the UK. In UK, it is actually considered as a drugstore brand. If you were to compare as to what Sleek Makeup is here, it would be compared to NYX, Covergirl, Revlon, and so on and so forth. Although it is just a drugstore product/brand, it is also considered as one of the best drugstore brand, and a more classy one too.
Moving on, I got these blushes quite a while ago actually, but only decided to do a post about it now. The blushes I purchased are Flushed, Flamingo, and Pan-Tao.

FLUSHED:

Flushed is a reddish colour, that gives off a really natural blushing look when applied to your cheeks. It is also matte with no added glitters or shimmer.

FLAMINGO:

Flamingo is my favourite out of all the three. It's a cute, and kind of bright pink colour. It looks pretty natural, but more obvious that you have blush on. Even though, the colour is very cute, fun and pretty.

PAN-TAO:

Pan-Tao is a limited edition blush, meaning it's no longer being sold. I'm not sure if it will come back though. Pan-Tao is a  cute orange/peach blush, and looks great when applied on your cheeks. Although it's orange, it still looks nice and natural for whenever you wanna try something new.

ALL:

REVIEW:

PROS:

Highly pigminted
Applies on great
Pretty colours, appear to be what is in the picture
Matte with no shimmer, and glitters, therefor giving it a natural look
Highly affordable

CONS:
Unless you live in the UK, online shopping might be a problem to others
Usually fades off after a couple of hours

OVERALL:
Overall, I think that everyone must absolutely try Sleek Makeup's products, especially the blushes. They are great, and comes in various colours. Not to mention, the price! For something so great, that works like any other high products out there, the price is a double steal!

There is also another Sleek Makeup Eyeshadow Palette reviews coming soon!

The Right Makeup for your Age Group ♥

Hello everyone!

So as you may know, I am a growing teen myself..I've been always changing my everyday makeup routine because I constantly find new ways to do my makeup. I started off wearing nothing but just mascara, but later on I started to put eyeliner. After eyeliner, of course I started experimenting with other things like eye shadow, blush, foundation and so on..Soon I started to wear full on makeup. I had a complete set of foundation, concealer, eye shadow, eyeliner, mascara, and blush. Sounds crazy for a young teen, eh? But everytime I'd look at the mirror, I knew something was completely wrong..I looked like I had so much on for someone so young, and so many of my parent's friends tell me I look like I'm 17 years old. Once someone even said I looked like I was in my 20's! Scary! I also knew that I wasn't the only one who put pounds of makeup. There are so many kids out there who are even younger than me, wearing much much more.
So today, I wanna talk about what should be the right makeup, people my age should be wearing..

Let's break this down to age groups:
9-11 years old: Honestly, people 9-11 years old should not at all be wearing makeup. Your skin would still be too fragile, and too young to have anything on it. It's also not necessary to wear any. You don't need to cover your face, your skin is still perfect and you should keep your fresh, innocent natural faces.

11 - 13 years old: It's still of course not recommended to wear make up, but for those of you who do want to start or want to experiment, a nice thin coat of lashes will do. If you have light, broken up pair of eyebrows like I do, it would also be nice to fill them in if you'd like. I suggest filling them in with eye shadow that matches your hair colour best. Using eyebrow pencils might just be too harsh. Make sure that when you're filling it in, to follow the natural shape of your brows. NEVER try to make your own shape. As for special occasions, you're welcome to wear a little bit amount of makeup..As for me, I like to change it up once in a while. Sometimes I'd wear a winged eyeliner, and some concealer. Or a natural eyeliner with a little bit of brown shadow.

For special occasions, and days you feel like dressing up, you may pack on your mascara, or even wear a little bit of eyeliner.

I love, love Elle fanning and her fresh natural face. This kind of makeup truly is what people of younger age should be wearing. Something natural, and fresh.

13 - 15 years old: Again, I still would not recommend a lot, but of course were growing girls. And let's admit it, we like looking or at least feeling pretty. So if you already know a lot about makeup by this age, you'd probably like to wear a little more. No biggie, just of course keep it simple and natural. I like to change up my everyday makeup once in a while..I like to wear a really thin amount of eyeliner putting it as close to the lash line as possible with a generous amount of mascara. Sometimes I'll wear foundation, or sometimes just concealer. Or if you'd like, you may also wear a little bit of natural eye shadow on your lids, with a generous amount of mascara. Once in a while, take time to experiment at home with your makeup to see what you like best on you. Just remember to always keep it natural..

Here is Chloe Grace Moretz, one of my favourite young actresses. Like I said, it's nice to wear a natural eye shadow on your lids with a little bit of mascara.

16+ years old: This would be the age group when you can start to freely wear what ever it is you'd like. You may notice that foundation, and concealer might become something of an everyday routine. For everyday, you may also start wearing heavier makeup, although not encouraged, it's still fine to do so. Eye shadow, with eyeliner and mascara would be something nice of an everyday. It's up to you what kind of eyeliner you like to wear. In my opinion, it would be nice to change it up once in a while depending on your outfit or on what you feel.
I love Hailee Steinfield! Here you can see, it's pretty dark. This makeup would be great for special occasions, or one of those "feel pretty" days!

Great for a natural everyday, but can also be good for special occasions.

Do know that just because I put a type of make up for every age group, does not mean I recommend  you wear it. Natural is always the best way to go. But this is just for those who have already started at a young age. Remember, if you have already started to wear makeup, this may make some changes on your skin, and affect your skin when you grow older. That's why always make sure to take extra good care of your skin especially now that you've started to wear make up.
Remember to experiment at times, and maybe even take your time to watch some tutorials on Youtube. It's also nice to search up some young actresses and see what they wear at a daily basis or at the red carpet. Good luck and remember to keep it natural and simple no matter what ♥
