DIY: Oreo Truffles! ♥

Hey girls!

I know you guys love sweets as much as I do, so therefore today I am presenting you with DIY Oreo Truffles! The fun part is, NO BAKING IS NEEDED! You guys know how much I love making sweets without having to bake. These truffles are super fun to make, super easy, and may I tell you super pretty! They make great gifts, snacks at a party, or simply just for yourself! Oreo lovers will love this, but so will any chocolate/sweets lover!

Here's how you can make this delicious snack!

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
♥ 1 pack of Oreos
♥ 1 cup of Cream Cheese (Original)
♥ Chocolate Chips
♥ Cupcake Liners (Optional)

STEP BY STEP:
♥ Take your Oreos and smash them until they reach a powdery consistency. You can use a food processor, or put the Oreos (some at a time) in a big ziplock bag and crush them.
♥ Take your Cream Cheese, and mix the Oreos and the Cream Cheese together in a big bowl. Although the required amount of Cream Cheese is 1 cup, I suggest adding the cream cheese a little a time. Start with half a cup, and if the oreo does not yet meet a dough consistency, add more cream cheese. Be careful not to add too much, otherwise it will reach a runny consistency. You want it almost like dough, where you are able to mold it.
♥ Mold the Oreo "dough" to a round circle shape.
♥ Melt your chocolate chips and dip the oreo truffles into the chocolate. Put it on a wax sheet.
♥ You can melt white chocolate, and drizzle white chocolate on top, or while it's still wet, take some oreo crumbs and spread them on top.
♥ Put the Oreo truffles into the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes (depending). The colder they are, the better they taste. It is optional to put them on cupcake liners (for appearances only).

TUTORIAL:

& you're finished! How easy was that? These taste absolutely delicious! Do not worry about the cream cheese making it taste weird, all you taste is yummy oreos and chocolate! Have fun making it, and tell me if you guys try it and what you think about it!

Turn Dry Nail Polish into Brand New again!

Hey everyone!

Have you ever bought a bunch of really great nail polish, only to see that a couple of weeks later it has turned dry? I don't know about you, but I absolutely hate dry nail polish, especially when I wanna use it some more! Well, here is a super easy trick that will turn any dry nail polish into brand new again! Not only will it save you some money, it will also save your favourite nail polish!

THINGS YOU WILL NEED:
  1. Any dried up Nail Polish you own.
  2. Nail Polish Remover (100% Pure Acetone)

STEPS:
  1. Take your dried nail polish and set the brush aside.
  2. Take your nail polish remover and pour an estimated amount inside the nail polish. Make sure not to put too much. Only put a little bit.
  3. Close the nail polish tight, and shake.
Now it's brand new and ready to use again! You will be amazed at how fast, easy and effective this is! It will literally make dry nail polish wet and new again.

My Daily Body Skin Routine ♥

Hey girlies!

Winter is just around the corner, and for some of us it has already come. Winter is a cold season, and one of the many reasons that leads to dry cracked skin. Now, I think for us ladies, we'd like to keep the skin of our legs, arms, or just our whole body in general smooth, glowy, and soft looking. This routine is not only good for one season, it is great to use all the time, for all seasons. Especially in the Summer, this routine will get your skin to glow in the sun.

This is my personal body skin routine, and I have been doing this for over a year, and my skin looks great. Do not expect instant results in the moisturizing part, but do expect quick results for the glowy part! Now let's begin this routine:

THINGS YOU WILL NEED:

  1. Vaseline (Original)
  2. Baby Oil (Preferably Johnson's. The Aloe Vera type)
  3. Moisturizing Body Lotion

STEPS:
  1. After taking a shower, do not dry your body. While your body is still wet, take some Vaseline on your finger tips and rub it on your skin as you would do with lotion. The wetness of your body will make it easier for the Vaseline to spread. So make sure your body is wet while doing this.
  2. Dry up, but pat instead of rub. Rubbing your skin dry will just wipe off the Vaseline you have just applied.
  3. Take some Baby Oil onto your hands and rub it like you would with lotion. If you have stretch marks, rub it on those areas especially, and on dry spots. The baby oil will instantly make your skin literally glow, and look healthy.
  4. Apply any lotion of your choice normally as you would.
Now you are finished! Your skin will instantly glow, and look and feel softer. Literally! This is great for all body types. Do not have any concerns on this making your skin oily! The Baby Oil is gentle on your skin as it is made specially for babies. The Vaseline is also originally a great moisturizing tool!

Give this body skin routine a try, and let me know what you think about it, and what it has done for you!

Feel free to also request anything!

Rocky Road Bundles! ♥

Hey guys!

Today I got a really exciting post to share with you guys! Rocky Road Bundles! Say whaat? As you can probably tell, this dessert is based off of the Rocky Road flavour (I think?) Its ingredients are: Peanut Butter, Chocolate Chips, Marshmallows and anything crispy! Originally when I found this recipe, it included Ramen to be the crispy part, but I didn't like the idea of adding Ramen plus I didn't have any Ramen lying around the house...So, I tried the recipe with Lucky Charms Cereal instead. There are many things you can substitute Cereal/Ramen with. You can try using Rice Krispies Cereal or Almonds (Nuts), anything crunchy really. I mean, this IS Rocky Road.

Watch the tutorial here: tutorial

Aren't they just the coolest? Oh, and here's the best part, NO BAKING IS NEEDED! Yeah, awesome right? Usually having to put things in the oven either is; tiring, chance of burning, time consuming, and messy! But this recipe only requires you to put it in the freezer. Usually the recommended time you leave it in the freezer is an hour, but in my case since I used an actual big freezer, it only took about 30 minutes. They stay pretty frozen on their own, so there's no worries that it will melt the moment you take it out of the freezer. You will get some chocolate on your fingers, but that doesn't worry me. I love licking my chocolate filled fingers! Hahahha. This recipe is absolutely delicious, crunchy, chewy, absolutely a must try.

TIPS/NOTES:

♥Even though the recipe requires for you to put 1 cup of Peanut butter, I recommend you put less. Unless you want the peanut butter taste, put only half a cup or estimate how much Peanut butter taste you want in your Rocky Road bundles.

♥Other ingredients you can use to make it crunchy are: Nuts (Preferably chopped Almonds), Rice Krispies, Other Cereals. Anything that is crunchy. Experiment!

♥Even though I mentioned that it does not melt easily, I still do not recommend you leave it out for too long. It belongs back in the freezer after you've eaten it.

♥You do not need to completely follow the recipe. You can experiment, depending on your taste you may add more or less of the ingredients (the marshmallows, cereal, etc)

Alright then, good luck! Let me know if you tried this and how it went for you!

Blue Glam Nail Art♥

Hey everyone!

You guys will not believe how easy it is to achieve these cute blue glitter nails. This may look like a bunch of complication (if you don't, then alright smarty pants!), but it actually is not at all. It took me about 5 mins to complete these nails. Maybe even less! If you have some left over crafts lying around the house you no longer use, FIND them right now! These are super cute for any occasions, and is just the perfect design.

STEPS:
1. Get any glitter of your choice.
2. Apply a base coat on the tips of your finger.
3. Instantly dip your fingers in the glitter.
4. Tap off the excess, and dab more top coat on the glitter to make sure it's all glued together. If however you have adhesive glue for nails, it would be preferable to use that.
Done!

Now you have these really cute and fun nails you can show off to your friends! Easy isn't it? :))

♥Instead of a dotting tool, you may also use a the ends of a hairpin (the round part)

The Right Makeup for your Age Group ♥

Hello everyone!

So as you may know, I am a growing teen myself..I've been always changing my everyday makeup routine because I constantly find new ways to do my makeup. I started off wearing nothing but just mascara, but later on I started to put eyeliner. After eyeliner, of course I started experimenting with other things like eye shadow, blush, foundation and so on..Soon I started to wear full on makeup. I had a complete set of foundation, concealer, eye shadow, eyeliner, mascara, and blush. Sounds crazy for a young teen, eh? But everytime I'd look at the mirror, I knew something was completely wrong..I looked like I had so much on for someone so young, and so many of my parent's friends tell me I look like I'm 17 years old. Once someone even said I looked like I was in my 20's! Scary! I also knew that I wasn't the only one who put pounds of makeup. There are so many kids out there who are even younger than me, wearing much much more.
So today, I wanna talk about what should be the right makeup, people my age should be wearing..

Let's break this down to age groups:
9-11 years old: Honestly, people 9-11 years old should not at all be wearing makeup. Your skin would still be too fragile, and too young to have anything on it. It's also not necessary to wear any. You don't need to cover your face, your skin is still perfect and you should keep your fresh, innocent natural faces.

11 - 13 years old: It's still of course not recommended to wear make up, but for those of you who do want to start or want to experiment, a nice thin coat of lashes will do. If you have light, broken up pair of eyebrows like I do, it would also be nice to fill them in if you'd like. I suggest filling them in with eye shadow that matches your hair colour best. Using eyebrow pencils might just be too harsh. Make sure that when you're filling it in, to follow the natural shape of your brows. NEVER try to make your own shape. As for special occasions, you're welcome to wear a little bit amount of makeup..As for me, I like to change it up once in a while. Sometimes I'd wear a winged eyeliner, and some concealer. Or a natural eyeliner with a little bit of brown shadow.

For special occasions, and days you feel like dressing up, you may pack on your mascara, or even wear a little bit of eyeliner.

I love, love Elle fanning and her fresh natural face. This kind of makeup truly is what people of younger age should be wearing. Something natural, and fresh.

13 - 15 years old: Again, I still would not recommend a lot, but of course were growing girls. And let's admit it, we like looking or at least feeling pretty. So if you already know a lot about makeup by this age, you'd probably like to wear a little more. No biggie, just of course keep it simple and natural. I like to change up my everyday makeup once in a while..I like to wear a really thin amount of eyeliner putting it as close to the lash line as possible with a generous amount of mascara. Sometimes I'll wear foundation, or sometimes just concealer. Or if you'd like, you may also wear a little bit of natural eye shadow on your lids, with a generous amount of mascara. Once in a while, take time to experiment at home with your makeup to see what you like best on you. Just remember to always keep it natural..

Here is Chloe Grace Moretz, one of my favourite young actresses. Like I said, it's nice to wear a natural eye shadow on your lids with a little bit of mascara.

16+ years old: This would be the age group when you can start to freely wear what ever it is you'd like. You may notice that foundation, and concealer might become something of an everyday routine. For everyday, you may also start wearing heavier makeup, although not encouraged, it's still fine to do so. Eye shadow, with eyeliner and mascara would be something nice of an everyday. It's up to you what kind of eyeliner you like to wear. In my opinion, it would be nice to change it up once in a while depending on your outfit or on what you feel.
I love Hailee Steinfield! Here you can see, it's pretty dark. This makeup would be great for special occasions, or one of those "feel pretty" days!

Great for a natural everyday, but can also be good for special occasions.

Do know that just because I put a type of make up for every age group, does not mean I recommend  you wear it. Natural is always the best way to go. But this is just for those who have already started at a young age. Remember, if you have already started to wear makeup, this may make some changes on your skin, and affect your skin when you grow older. That's why always make sure to take extra good care of your skin especially now that you've started to wear make up.
Remember to experiment at times, and maybe even take your time to watch some tutorials on Youtube. It's also nice to search up some young actresses and see what they wear at a daily basis or at the red carpet. Good luck and remember to keep it natural and simple no matter what ♥
